Barbon’s Barbershop and its crew really care about three things: good vibes, good service, and really fresh haircuts. This Eastside gem was founded in July of 2017 by local Austinite sisters, Sarita and Clarita Sanchez. Born and raised from an entrepreneurial family in the food industry, the two merged their dream to create a unique and inviting space for everyone to enjoy.
The shop design combines the duo’s inspiration taken from barbershop culture around the world and strives to offer guests a memorable experience from the minute they walk in the door. At Barbon’s, one can expect a classic barbershop with a modern vibe where the music is on point, local craft beer is served on tap, and the barber crew is friendly, extremely skilled, and passionate about their work. If you’re looking for a new barbershop to call home, just look for the barber pole on the corner of East 7th and Chicon Street.
