Karen Richards started Nature’s Treasures of Texas with a simple, but powerful, idea—nature has the ability to heal, inspire, and connect us. What began as a shelf of crystals in her former furniture store back in 2000 has grown into a 25,000 square foot Austin favorite that is now celebrating 25 years and newly rooted at 11055 North IH-35. 

Karen’s love for the natural world, her creative spirit, and her deep roots in the community helped shape Nature’s Treasures into the one-of-a-kind place it is today.
