Ashley is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of EASTside Magazine — a women-owned, community-oriented lifestyle brand she built from the ground up in 2015. Her vision was simple but powerful: give East Austin a publication that truly reflects the people, creativity, and spirit of this neighborhood. Under her leadership, EASTside has grown into one of Austin’s most trusted local voices, with a print magazine, digital platform, and 127,000+ Instagram followers.

Ashley leads every editorial decision at EASTside, shaping the stories that spotlight mission-driven organizations, artists, creatives, and innovative entrepreneurs across Central and East Austin. Her commitment to authentic, community-first storytelling is what sets EASTside apart from every other publication in the city.

Prior to founding EASTside, Ashley worked in architecture and interior design. She received her BS in Finance from Sam Houston State University and graduated magna cum laude from Texas State University with a BA in Interior Design.

Will has spent more than 20 years building magazines that matter. Starting with his first publication while studying at Texas State University in San Marcos, he went on to create and rebrand five magazines across Texas and Oklahoma — developing a rare instinct for what makes local media connect with its community. He brings that track record to EASTside every single day, leading creative direction, design, and business strategy.

His connection to East Austin isn’t just professional — it’s deeply personal.
