Ashley is the co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of EASTside Magazine, a community-oriented lifestyle brand illuminating mission-driven organizations, artists, creatives, and innovative entrepreneurs in East Austin since 2015. Her vision is to inspire and ignite our ever-growing audience to action through powerful storytelling, leading the way to spotlight the diverse businesses and talented people that make this incredible corner of Austin a unique and dynamic community.
Prior to founding EASTside, Ashley worked in architecture and interior design and has always enjoyed creative writing and has had a keen spatial awareness and eye for design. She received her BS in Finance from Sam Houston State University and went on to graduate magna cum laude at Texas State University with a BA in Interior Design.
When not leading the creative and editorial team at EASTside Mag, she can be found playing cards with her two twelve-year-old, on the floor with her baby girl, cheering on the sidelines of soccer and football games, entertaining friends in the backyard, and last but not least, traveling and exploring the world.
