Founded in 2016, Swamp Mermaid has become synonymous with artistry, integrity, and transformation. Now, as the salon celebrates its tenth anniversary, it’s preparing to open a stunning new East Austin location in February 2026, the next chapter in its evolution. With it comes a new mantra: Rebranding People. More than a slogan, it’s a philosophy that guides every service, from lived-in color and hand-tied extensions to laser tattoo removal and brow restoration.
With over 20 years’ experience in cosmetic tattooing, Jody is widely regarded as Austin’s go-to expert for corrective microblading — an artist who restores confidence as deftly as she restores brows.
