Between Seth Whaland’s first round of living in Austin (2004 – 2012) and when he returned in 2015, he lived in Philadelphia and worked as a mover. The company hired mostly artists and musicians, and it made moving fun, both for those doing the moving and for their clients. When Seth decided to move back to Austin, he knew that type of business was perfect for Austin. With an added drop of lightheartedness, professionalism, and care, they could change the way their clients experience a move.
Seth is still a musician and co-runs a record label, Keeled Scales. However, his passion is to help people. What better way than to see people through a transition? Whether you’re new to town or you’ve been here for a while, Mash Movers is ready to help. They know moving is as stressful as driving on I-35 and harder than finding parking downtown, but their team is friendly, strong, careful and will do whatever they can to make your move stress free.
They are based in East Austin and will move clients anywhere in Texas, but they especially love moving their neighbors.
