“Born Here. Still Here” is a phrase Callahan’s General Store uses to capture the spirit of their 45-year lifespan as Austin’s longest-standing agricultural retail paradise.
“Callahan’s remains a neighborhood place where you can experience Austin’s past while it meets the present,” says CEO and GM Charley Wilson. “Here” is just east of downtown, headed toward Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Highway 183.
On arrival, you’ll find a neighborhood hardware store, country feed store, novel garden shop, household boutique, and fashionable western wear outlet… all in one. You’ll be welcomed by a dose of service, knowledge, and expertise, which leads you to a cornucopia of feed, grass seed, pet food, fertilizer, cowboy pools, chickens, hay bales, nuts & bolts, seasoned skillets, kitchen gadgets, boots, hats, jeans, belts, and more.
